Arouna Sangante

Analysis: Sangante joined Le Havre at the age of 15 and developed through every level of the club before establishing himself as a regular starter and captain from the 2023/24 season at just 21 years old. Sangante made 74 Ligue 1 appearances across three top-flight seasons, contributing four goals, having previously played a key role in Le Havre's promotion to the top flight as champions in 2022/23 where he contributed three goals and two assists across 35 second division appearances. The tall defender, who can also operate at right-back, now heads to Sevilla for his first experience outside France, bringing leadership, physical presence and top-flight experience to a club looking to rebuild their defensive unit heading into the 2026/27 campaign.
